4X4X48 R.A.M.P. RUNS FOR THE GIRLS
Join us on September 04th - September 6th
On Sunday, October 25, Áine, the leader and founder of R.A.M.P., will be running the 2026 Irish Life Dublin Marathon. Additionally, this September, R.A.M.P. will be taking on our own 4x4x48 Challenge—running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours—to raise funds for the Women's Sports Foundation

Founded by Billie Jean King in 1974, the Women's Sports Foundation has spent more than 50 years expanding access to sports for girls and women, advocating for equity, investing in communities, and proving that sport has the power to change lives.

I say that I am living proof of the importance of women in sports. My own story is filled with both light and dark—immeasurable amounts of love and light, as well as earth-shattering devastation. I have fought daily battles with learning disabilities, I’ve watched addiction afflict my loved ones, and I’ve looked death in the eyes twice—seeing both of my magnificent, parents take their last breaths because of cancer. Regardless of all that I have been through, sports have always been a constant in my life. Through sports, I have learned time and time again that the only limitations I have are the ones I put on myself. My goal through participating in this marathon and creating this 4x4x48 R.A.M.P. Runs For The Girls Challenge is to bring awareness to this incredible foundation.

By age 14, girls leave sports at twice the rate of boys, and nearly two-thirds stop participating by their mid-teens. Yet, when girls stay involved in sports, they are more likely to become leaders, build confidence, develop teamwork and discipline, and experience improved mental health. Sports don't just create athletes—they help shape resilient, empowered women.

That's why R.A.M.P. is Running For The Girls—to raise money for the little girls and young women of the future!
Whether it's 48 miles over 48 hours with R.A.M.P. or my solo 26.2 miles through the streets of Dublin, every mile represents the belief that every girl deserves the opportunity to discover her own strength, confidence, and potential.
Our R.A.M.P. 4x4x48 Challenge is about more than endurance- it's about community, i showing up for one another, and creating a space where women and allies can challenge themselves while supporting a mission that helps create lasting opportunities for future generations.
I'd love for you to be part of it!

Registration is free to sign up for the challenge. However, the goal of this event is to raise funds for the Women's Sports Foundation. You may choose to make a one-time donation to support the fundraiser. Additionally, you can have friends and family sponsor your individual run—such as donating a dollar for every mile you complete. Whether you complete all 48 miles, run a single segment, or simply support the cause with a donation, every mile and dollar helps expand opportunities for girls and women in sports.
Together, we can help ensure that every girl has the chance to experience what sports have provided me: resilience, confidence, purpose, and the belief that anything is possible.
Because women are not just part of the future of sports—they are helping shape that future.Donation Page
