Participants will take part in a volunteer event to clean up and restore an area of the Lake Mathews Reserve in the Tin Mine Road area. After clean-up, RCHCA will restore the area by planting native trees and vegetation. Approximately 100 volunteers are being requested but more are always welcome. Sturdy boots, long pants, and gloves are suggested. Lunch will be served after the event for all volunteers.

Directions: From I-15 take Cajalco Rd. exit. Follow Cajalco Road for approx. 4 miles to the intersection of La Sierra Ave. Turn left on La Sierra Ave and continue for 1.4 miles to a dirt road on your left, Tin Mine Rd. Follow signs to park.

From the 215 S / Ramona Expressway, exit Ramona Expy and turn right. Continue onto Cajalco Rd. for approx 6 miles. Turn right onto El Sobrante Rd. and continue for 5.8 miles. Turn left onto La Sierra Ave and continue for 1 mile to a dirt road on your left, Tin Mine Rd. Follow signs to park.

From the 91W take La Sierra Ave. exit. Head south approx. 5 miles to a dirt road on your right, Tin Mine Rd. Follow signs to park.
