“The Velveteen Rabbit” is a Christmas opera in four scenes adapted by Mandi Barrus from the beloved children’s story by Margery Williams. This reading is suitable for all ages. An intermission will follow.

In “Protectress” by Kendra Preston Leonard, gorgons, goddesses, and fates grapple with themes of victim shaming, forgiveness, and redemption in this modernization of the Medusa myth. This reading is recommended for ages 14+ and contains a content warning for mentions of rape and suicide.
