Film Categories
  • Fentanyl Doesn’t Care. But We Do
Fentanyl doesn’t care that you are a parent, a student, or someone experimenting with drugs for the first time. Fentanyl takes lives with no remorse. This category is about showing how fentanyl can affect anyone, at any age, regardless of their status in society or their role in life.

  • Interview - Personal Stories
Share impactful stories from people’s lived experience. These interviews should let viewers connect with someone’s personal experiences, challenges, and insights. The goal is to inspire others by showing real-life journeys and lessons learned.

  • Prevention and Awareness - Knowing Why
This category is for films that explain why understanding and preventing issues is so important. Topics could include things like mental health, substance use, or staying aware. These films should help viewers learn more, think ahead, and take action to avoid problems before they start.

  • “It Can Happen to Anyone” - Addressing Stigma
Films in this category aim to address the stigma around fentanyl use and talking about the dangers of overdose with friends and family. Submissions should feature real life conversations individuals can have with others or address the ways students can break the stigma in their schools regarding the dangers of fentanyl.
