Dr. Kimberly R. Whitsett
Dr. Whitsett is an esteemed leader who serves in multiple roles with grace and passion. She is the elected City Clerk of Ecorse, Michigan, where she oversees vital aspects of public service, including record-keeping, voter registration, and municipal elections. Alongside her civic duties, Dr. Whitsett is also serves as one of the Associate Pastor at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, leading various ministries such as Christian Education, Mission Outreach, New Members, Music Ministry, and more.
With a Doctorate of Ministry from the Ecumenical Theological Seminary, she has a heart for Biblical counseling and community outreach, constantly working to uplift those around her. Her entrepreneurial spirit shines through as the proprietor of Kim’s Quality Printing & More, a business dedicated to providing professional digital and desktop publishing services.
A woman of many talents, Dr. Kim is also a celebrated gospel recording artist, having graced the stage at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheater and participated in the Detroit Music Awards Aretha Franklin Memorial Tribute to say a few. Her creative accomplishments extend to writing, producing, and directing stage productions, with her recorded music projects and requested appearances touching hearts far and wide.
Whether in ministry, public service, or business, Dr. Kim seeks to exemplify servant leadership, always striving to glorify God in all that she does; to which she humbly says, TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
