At Representation Matters, we aim to showcase how community building can be achieved through the promotion of representation, inclusivity and accessibility. We believe that by celebrating and embracing differences, we can build stronger and more resilient communities within the industry.

Our mission is to highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the Energy industry. Our goal is to bring together voices from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and insights, and to foster a deeper understanding of the value of diversity in the workplace.  Her authenticity and openness about the struggles and challenges of working away from home struck a chord with viewers, and her audience skyrocketed into the thousands, with close to half a million views in a short period of time.

Jamie is the Global Sales and Key Account Director for IET at Baker Hughes, with 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She started as a Field Sales Rep for Smith Bits and has since built an extensive network of clients who follow her career journey to this day.
 Jamie is passionate about creating change in the energy sector by advocating for more women in oil and gas and raising awareness of the industry’s positive impact.
In 2019, she co-founded Flipping the Barrel with Massiel Diez to provide a resource for those interested in pursuing or learning more about the industry and to create a more inclusive workforce.

Bailey Toups
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Bailey is a senior at Louisiana State University, working towards a degree in Marketing. She is currently working as business development intern at St. Jude's Research Hospital in Baton Rouge.
Bailey will be appearing on our Mother-Daughter panel with her mother Diedre Toups.
Reagan Ralston
LAW STUDENT
Reagan Ralston is currently a third-year law student at the University of Houston Law
Center. Reagan graduated magna cum laude with a BBA from Texas A&M University in 2022
and started law school immediately after. In law school, she serves as an Articles Editor for the
Houston Health Law and Policy Journal and the Associate Events Director for the Student Bar
Association. She has worked at commercial litigation firms and with a public defender, mostly
doing work in juvenile courts and mental competency courts. Reagan will be appearing on our Mother-Daughter panel with her mother, Dianne Ralston.
