About Us
Hi, I'm Robin!

I’m a licensed Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist with a passion for treating running related injuries. I love working with runners of all levels—from beginners to seasoned marathoners and ultra runners, to reduce pain, improve mechanics, and boost performance.

I especially enjoy working with complex or long-standing injuries, pinpointing the root cause(s) driving the symptoms. Helping runners return to the sport they love with confidence is incredibly rewarding.

Resilient Runner's Workshops
Workshop #1:
Run Strong: Strength & Power Essentials for Runners

CLASS FULL
Date/Time: November 17th, 2025, 6:00pm-7:00pm
Location: TBD (Fremont or Magnolia)
Cost: $45
A workshop designed for 8-10 runners looking to enhance performance by reducing stress with every stride.

With the constant bombardment of fitness advice, it can be challenging to distinguish trends from solid, evidence-based guidance. As an endurance runner, your strength training shouldn’t mirror that of a bodybuilder or team sport athlete. It needs to be specific, efficient, and designed to complement the high mileage required for endurance running, so you can improve your running economy* without sacrificing your time on the road/trail.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to structure your resistance training for maximum impact: how heavy, how much, how often, and which muscle groups to target, so every stride is stronger, more powerful, and more injury-resilient.

*Running Economy: How efficiently the body moves during running, influenced by metabolic, biomechanical, and neuromuscular factors. Improving it requires targeted strength training that enhances movement efficiency, force absorption, and stability.

Workshop #2: Physical Performance Testing
Date/Time: Monday, February 23 2026, 6:30-7:30PM
Location: TBD (Fremont or Magnolia)
Cost: $45
A workshop designed for 8-10 runners looking to enhance performance by reducing stress with every stride.

Wendy and Robin will guide you through a battery of tests to assess your motor control* and mobility, helping you identify inefficiencies and unlock more effective, resilient movement patterns. You’ll leave with 2–3 personalized exercises targeting your unique areas for improvement.
The result: reduced injury risk, improved symmetry, and enhanced running performance.

* Motor control refers to the nervous system’s ability to plan, coordinate, and execute purposeful movement. It involves the integration of sensory input (such as proprioception) and motor output to ensure that muscles activate in the correct sequence, at the appropriate intensity and timing. Effective motor control allows for stable, efficient, and adaptable movement, essential for reducing injury risk, improving movement symmetry, and optimizing performance.

Workshop #3: Optimize Your Running Form
Date/Time: Sunday, March 15th 2026, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Location: TBD (Magnolia or Fremont)
Cost: $45
A workshop designed for 8-10 runners looking to enhance performance by reducing stress with every stride.

Through guided running drills, you’ll learn practical techniques to refine your form, adjust cadence, and optimize your mechanics for different terrains. Whether you’re training for performance or aiming for pain-free miles, this session gives you evidence-based strategies to make your running more efficient, sustainable, and effective.
