Workshop #1:
Run Strong: Strength & Power Essentials for Runners
Date/Time: Sunday, January 18th, 2026, 8:00am-9:00am
Location: TBD (Fremont or Magnolia)
Cost: $45
A workshop designed for 8-10 runners looking to enhance performance by reducing stress with every stride.
With the constant bombardment of fitness advice, it can be challenging to distinguish trends from solid, evidence-based guidance. As an endurance runner, your strength training shouldn’t mirror that of a bodybuilder or team sport athlete. It needs to be specific, efficient, and designed to complement the high mileage required for endurance running, so you can improve your running economy* without sacrificing your time on the road/trail.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to structure your resistance training for maximum impact: how heavy, how much, how often, and which muscle groups to target, so every stride is stronger, more powerful, and more injury-resilient.
*Running Economy: How efficiently the body moves during running, influenced by metabolic, biomechanical, and neuromuscular factors. Improving it requires targeted strength training that enhances movement efficiency, force absorption, and stability.
