Let’s build more than homes. Let’s build change.
Affordable homeownership can change lives. It improves school performance, reduces crime, strengthens financial stability, and supports the health and well-being of entire families. But for many women, the path to owning a home is blocked by systemic barriers—wage gaps, limited credit access, and unequal caregiving responsibilities.
This October, Skender is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s Women Build to help level the playing field. Alongside 550 incredible women, we’re rolling up our sleeves, picking up our tools, and raising $740,000 to help build safe, stable, affordable homes—homes that women can own.
We won’t just be fundraising—we’ll be on the ground at the Habitat build sites, working side by side to bring these homes to life.
