Join us on Saturday, March 28 at 10 a.m.
A series of community listening sessions funded through the LOR Foundation will launch later this winter, giving residents an opportunity to share their perspectives on local coverage and community issues directly with newsroom staff.
The three sessions, titled “Your Voice, Our Coverage — Community Listening Sessions,” are designed to engage locals, businesses and nonprofit organizations in conversations about what matters most to them and how local journalism can better reflect community needs.
The Questa del Rio News says the sessions will focus on listening to community concerns, discussing priority topics and exploring ways to strengthen coverage of local issues. All staff members are encouraged to participate, particularly those available to attend in person, to meet residents and take part in the discussions.
You are registering for the first listening session at Rosie's Smokehouse. RSVP's are being collected as we will be providing food for up to 30 attendees. If you RSVP and do not plan on attending, please let us know.
- Session 2: Saturday, March 28, 10 to 11:30 a.m., My Tia’s Café in Cerro
