The University of the Incarnate Word's Campus Ministry invites you to take part in OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)—a journey of faith and formation for those seeking to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. Nuestro programa, titulado “SACRAMEANT”, nos recuerda que los sacramentos son para ti. Ya sea que estés comenzando a explorar la fe católica o lleves tiempo en este camino, este es un espacio acogedor para profundizar tu relación con Cristo y con la Iglesia.
Disponible en español. Offering flexibility and cultural inclusivity for our diverse university community. Part of the process includes a weekend retreat in the middle of the process and a half day retreat towards the end. Las reuniones se llevan a cabo en en inglés y en español, ofreciendo flexibilidad e inclusión cultural para nuestra diversa comunidad universitaria. Parte del proceso incluye un retiro de fin de semana a mitad del camino y un retiro de medio día hacia el final. Meetings will be held in English and Español (Wednesdays 6 pm biweekly). This schedule offers flexibility for students and participants to grow in faith in the language they feel most comfortable with.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
For Baptism, a Birth Certificate is required. For Confirmation, a Baptism Certificate is needed.
how much does it cost?
It is free. There is one weekend retreat that it will have its costs (info provided later). Es gratuito. Solo el retiro de fin de semana tendrá un costo (info se dará luego)
How long is the process?
One year. Around April and May next year the process ends. Toma un año el proceso. En abril o mayo se reciben los sacramentos
