What's going on?
Samaritan's Heart Mission Church is hosting a back to school bash for the kids at Tank and Fort Howard Elementary Schools in Green Bay! So many individuals, community organizations, and local businesses have contributed their time, talents, and resources to create a special day for students to get prepared to go back to school! Children will receive free back packs filled with many of the items off their school-published supply lists. We have partnered with local hair salons to provide free back to school haircuts. Dental supplies will be given out. Personal hygeine items will be given. Plus, for families who would like to participate, kids will have the opportunity to pick out some gently used, freshly laundered clothing items.

school supply preparation & sorting
keller williams - eisenhower de pere from 5:00 - 8:3o pm
August 10th, meet up with friends, share some good conversation while sorting supplies by grade and arranging them for the backpack filling party. Are you organized, can you sort and count? This one is for you!
August 11th, we are looking for people to fill backpacks by grade and gender and label accordingly.
August 12th, we are looking for individuals to load and transport 450 backpacks from Keller Williams on Eisenhower in DePere to Samaritan's Heart Mission Church in Green Bay.

This is a big undertaking -setting up the clothing room, displaying items by size/gender on racks and tables. Setting up various areas where the different activities will take place such as haircuts, backpack giveaways, dental supplies, and hygiene items. Make sure the space is inviting and ready for the kids to come and have a great day!

We want to create a fun space for the event - to hype up the kids and get them excited for the upcoming school year! Do you have an artistic flair? We would like to keep the color scheme to the following: orange and black for Tank Elementary and Purple/Silver for Fort Howard. Assisting the kids with clothing selections, passing out backpacks or other items. Helping our hair team sweep up and sanitize between kids, keeping things neat and orderly throughout the day. Teardown and cleanup at the end of the event. Transportation of leftover clothing to Green Bay First.
