Samsung NeuroLogica welcomes you to join us for a Lunch & Learn event at RSNA. Hear about how a portable full-body CT scanner brought unique solutions to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento's high-demand, interventional oncology practice. This innovative system provided nearly unlimited access for CT-guided routine procedures and enabled more complex interventional oncology procedures to be performed directly within the IR suite. With features such as a wide gantry bore, integrated shielding, and significant dose reduction for the radiologist, it became the primary IR CT scanner in July 2019. The result? Improved access times for CT-guided biopsies and oncology treatments while alleviating the workload on hospital CT scanners, ultimately enhancing ER and inpatient flow.
This presentation will demonstrate how these solutions can offer IR teams across various settings new opportunities to optimize procedure efficiency and patient care.
