Saving Democracy: California's Important Role in 2024 and Beyond
Join us on Sunday, April 28.
The League of Women Voters of California Development Committee invite you to a virtual fundraiser on Sunday, April 28 from 5-6pm, with keynote speaker, Sandra Fluke.

Sandra Fluke (she/her) is the President of Voices for Progress and an attorney who specializes in policy and legislative advocacy on behalf of progressive causes. She is nationally known for her congressional testimony regarding birth control access under the Affordable Care Act and for taking on Rush Limbaugh.

Sandra currently serves as the Board Treasurer of the Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project and the National Council of Jewish Women Los Angeles, and as an Advisory Board Member of Equality California. She is a political partner with the Truman National Security Project.

In addition to our amazing speaker, take a look at the LWVC Action Auction, for silent auction services and items. The auction supports the LWVC action fund and will stay open until April 30 at midnight! Start bidding today! We have everything from baking sessions to jewelry to self-publishing and more!

Tickets for this unique event are only $10, but the LWVC Development Committee strongly encourages additional donations. All funds raised will support the LWVC's advocacy efforts in Sacramento and throughout the state.
