Judi, who was wearing a green evening dress at the event in support of calls for a sustainable Adult Social Care sector added: ‘From someone who has used the service, worked for the service and have signposted people to you, I’d like to say: thank you so much, truly from the bottom of my heart.’
The Awards recognised outstanding professional care given to thousands in Care Homes, Home Care, Nursing Homes, Supported Living and Learning Disability services throughout Surrey.
Added Judi: ‘Tonight, we have seen some people who are at the Top. Of. Their. Game. We know you are working with vulnerable people on a minimal budget, and somehow you manage to make so much of a difference in people’s lives.
But sometimes, people working in it don’t always get the thanks they deserve. These awards I hope, give you a bit of that much needed recognition. We see you and we love you to pieces!’
Said Lucinda and Matthew Kulupka, co-founders of Home Counties Carers who won Home Care Provider of the Year: ‘Finding and embracing the joy in our work is so important to us, and we place great value on each team member, recognising and fostering their contributions. This award serves as a perfect affirmation of our team's commitment.’
