Scarborough's Michelin Trail Food Tour
We're happy to share that Scarborough Arts is supporting Scarborough's Michelin Trail Food Tour as part of its goal to champion local businesses and encourage neighbourhood exploration. The ticket price for this tour is only $70 / person + HST (whereas regular pricing is $110 / person + HST)
It is wild but true - Scarborough is home to 3 really good Michelin Guide recognized restaurants! Join us and other foodies on a tour that takes you to all three - on the same day!
Over this four-hour tour, we’ll stop at Northern Smokes for some succulent southern style BBQ, Koh Lipe’s Scarborough location for some southern Thai cuisine, and Sumilicious for their famous juicy smoked meat sandwiches!
Introduced in Toronto just a short few years ago, the Michelin Guide has transformed not only how tourists eat in our city, but how locals do as well. But what do you really know about this world famous guide? As part of this tour, we’ll also discuss the history of the Michelin Guide, how the stars and recognition are given and the impact of the Michelin rating system on local businesses. We’ll also discuss your favourite spots (Michelin recognized or NOT!), and pay a visit to “Bib,” the Guide’s official mascot.

How To Register:
1. Click the "Register" button on this page and fill out the registration form where we ask questions about your dietary restrictions and allergies, emergency contact details, etc. If you're bringing someone else with you, we ask that you fill out their information too.
2. After you complete the payment process, you will receive an email confirmation. A few days before the tour, you'll receive an email with details about the tour, including our meeting point, what to bring, etc.
3. We will see you at the designated meeting point on the day of the food tour. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can validate your tickets. The tour will start at 5:30pm sharp!

• We offer two menu options - regular and vegetarian. We will not be able to make any other dietary accommodations. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].
• This food tour is from 5:30pm to 9:30pm and we will visit 4 major food stops along the way.
• We will walk and use a school bus to get around. The pick-up and drop-off location is the meeting spot.
• Pricing is inclusive of the tour guide, the food, and gratuities.
• This is a rain-or-shine event. Please be prepared for the weather conditions.
• If you have a small appetite, please bring reusable containers to take your leftover portions home.
Accessibility Notes
• All restaurants are on the ground floor, but they may not have full accessibility features (i.e. self-opening door at the entrance.)
• If you would like to drive yourself to the stops, please let us know via email: [email protected] and we can send you the driving directions.
Spiciness Note: Food served on this tour may range from a mild to medium level of spice.
Refund Policy
If you have registered but cannot attend and would like to request a refund, please note the following:
• We will issue a full refund, minus any credit card processing fees up to 72 hours before the start of the tour
• We will only issue a 50% refund between 48 and 72 hours before the start of the tour
• No refunds will be issued if the request is made within 48 hours before the start of the tour. You may request to transfer your ticket to another tour in our Scarborough Arts-sponsored tour series or to another person – just email us at [email protected] and will send you a special code to do so.
