Goddess in Oxford is excited to offer our wider community another full day Goddess celebration event this Samhain season, honouring Sheela-Na-Gig with full visibility, wildness, and intensity.  In this event, we are inviting different perspectives and ways of connecting with Sheela in Oxford, while also connecting with the Glastonbury Goddess Temple's celebrations of Sheela this year.  There will be wonderful collaborations with so many people who love Sheela in different ways - including ceremonialists from Glastonbury and from the Path of Love Mystery School, and people who are doing this important work in our local community.  Join us for empowerment and ceremony with workshops, drum circle, a pop-up exhibition of Sheela art, and a pop-up Temple celebrating Sheela in power and potential.

The day will include opportunities to meet like-minded people and to connect more deeply with Sheela within and in our city and land through sound, song, rhythm, meditation, creativity, and presentations. The day will run from 10.00 am to 4 pm at North Oxford Association Community Centre (Diamond Place).

This event is being offered with love for our community and tremendous thanks to our presenters on a £5 donation basis to help cover costs of the venue. We advise advance booking to avoid disappointment, but at this time drop in visits on the day should also be possible. The full day's programme will be published here once finalised and emailed to all who register.

This event is open to everyone who loves Sheela, and we welcome people who connect with this archetype from Queer, Trans, and Non-binary perspectives. We feel all of these different perspectives are different faces of the Divine Jewel.

We invite you to wear black, deepest purple, red, and/or pink, or anything Sheela inspired!

Please bring:

*Food for lunch
*Notebook / journal and pen
*An open heart and mind
*You are welcome to bring your own rattle or frame drum if you have one, as there will be opportunities to use it during ceremony and workshops.

Among its themes, this event explores the mysteries and initiations of sacred sexuality and is not going to be appropriate for children who have not yet reached puberty.
