We invite you to celebrate the life of this amazing wife, mother, grandmother, mentor, coach, and friend. Shelley didn't want people to be upset about her death but, instead wanted people to remember the good times that everyone had with her. It was one of Shelley's final requests to have a party with all her closest friends and family, instead of a regular funeral. That is what this party will be about, all good vibes for someone that truly deserved it. There is no dress code for this event, please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. We hope to see you all there.
Shelley Lynne Davis-Hall (“Sheldog”) passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2023. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death. Shelley was born on July 21, 1963.
Shelley is survived by her husband of 35 years Greg Davis-Hall; her three children, Matthew (Caralee) Davis-Hall, Rushton (Sarah) Davis-Hall, and Breanna (Tyler) Davis-Hall; her grandson and biggest fan: Weston Weber; her two cats: Luna and Xany; her mother-in-law: Angela Davis-Hall; her sisters-in-law: Julie (Graham) Edmonds, Alex, Susan (Dave) Johnson; her nieces and nephews: Ryan, Zakary, Hanna, and Chloe; her Aunt Cecil and Uncle John; her cousins; Heather and Margaret as well as many other relatives and friends.
Shelley is predeceased by her parents; Sharon and Henry Palmer, her step-dad Donald (Duck); her father-in-law Albert Davis-Hall; and her cats Sassy and Pookie.
Everyone who knew Shelley felt her huge heart and giving nature and she dedicated her whole life to helping others succeed. Shelley was so talented in anything she picked up. She was well known in both the soccer and hockey world throughout Alberta and volunteered countless hours even after her children no longer participated. Shelley brought an uplifting spirit to any event, always going out of her way to make people feel welcome. Before moving to Stettler, Shelley and Greg ran a successful year-round greenhouse business out of Didsbury, Alberta, distributing fresh herbs and flowers to major retailers and restaurants throughout western Canada, all while they raised their three beautiful children. In 2005, they moved to Stettler, where Shelley continued to dedicate her life to raising her kids (and their friends). Shelley became a mother figure to many she knew, pushing them to be the best version of themselves while selflessly devoting her time and caring for them. Shelley was taken far too soon at a time when life was looking forward to the next babysitting adventure with grandson Weston. She was the proudest Nanny and Weston’s favourite person.

This is a drop-in event. Please feel free to come whenever you can.
At 5:00 pm, we will have anyone interested in sharing a memory of Shelley take the mic. Please note on the RSVP form if you would like to be a part of this.
Once the dialogue on the mic ends, people are welcome to join in and play the multiple games we will have set up.
One of Shelley's favourite things to do was host potluck dinner parties. She would spend hours planning who was bringing what item and anything that wasn't on the list she would make herself. We thought it would be great if everyone brings one potluck item for this event that everybody could share. Don't feel obligated to bring anything if you can't, there will be plenty of food to go around. Please feel free to reach out to Breanna Davis-Hall @ (403) 740-5777 or Matt Davis-Hall @ (403) 992-1883 if you have any questions.
This event is BYOB (bring your own booze) so please feel free to bring whatever you enjoy drinking. If you choose to bring alcohol as your beverage of choice, make sure you bring the original receipt with you. We will be supplying coffee and water, while supplies last.

Donations & 50/50 Raffle
In lieu of gifts or flowers, we kindly ask that you make a donation to the onsite donation box or email money transfer to [email protected]. All donations will go directly to event and funeral home costs. There will also be an onsite 50/50 raffle which we think Shelley would have wanted as she loved selling (and winning) 50/50 raffles at her kid's sports events. There is NO ATM onsite, please bring cash if wanting to participate.
We look forward to a great evening with all of you!
