Our Show N Shine caters to everyone’s tastes. Categories suitable for the practical and the hardened off-road rigs. The competitive feature at the National 4x4 Outdoors Show allows members of the off-road community to showcase their beasts to peers, and the public alike.
This competition will inspire you to go above and beyond, fill you with ideas and provide guidance for your own 4x4 upgrades. It’s not all about the rigs though, meet the car owners and listen to stories of their adventures, build experiences and lessons learned. Become part of our community and you’ll never look back.
Competition Categories:- Vintage Classics - Pre - 1990 - Classic 4WDs, authenticity, originality and mechanical condition
- Next-Gen Beasts - Post - 2020 - brand-new, elite 4WD builds that push boundaries, show quality presentation, no expense spared, originality and exceptional craftmanship
- Rough & Tumble - with a focus of function, off road capabilities, originality and tackling tough terrains
- Terrific Tourer - focus is on off grid capability, towing loads, fuel efficiency, originality and long haul reliability
All vehicles entered must be road worthy and meet the current standards for VSI 8 in accordance to the national code of practice VSB 14

To save any issues on the day ( and the risk a vehicle won’t be judged) we suggest you take any non-complaint parts off before showing at the event e.g. take off the fishing rod holder, any extra lights etc.
- Accessories cannot be protruding from the bulbar( fishing rod holders, lights)
- Accessories cannot be mounted above the bulbar (lights etc)
- The vehicle cannot have more than four additional forward facing lights
- The tyre size must be no larger than 25mm of factory without an engineering certificate
- The tyres must not protrude out the side of the vehicle

- Any vehicles sponsored by 4x4 brands are not eligible to enter
- If you work in the 4x4 industry and your vehicle is used to promote a business you are not eligible to enter
This is to keep things fair amongst entrants, and to showcase a range of different vehicles at each Show.
