FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How are we paying for the reunion?
A:
Reunions are funded with the money leftover from ASB funds & money generated from reunions thereafter. There was no money leftover from the 10yr reunion so we are entering this reunion with zero funds and relying on sponsors, donors, offered services, and purchased tickets! If you'd like to contribute, please see our 'Fundraising' section for more info or CLICK HERE to go straight to the form. All collected funds will be put into our Class of 2004 bank account and used only for reunion-related costs. Should we have any funds leftover after this reunion, they will be used towards future reunions. Budget information and all collections and costs will be posted under 'Financial Info' for full transparency.

Q: What is the SHS Homecoming schedule on Friday, Oct. 4th?
A: 10:45AM - Serpentine Parade
5:30PM - Homecoming Memorabilia in the Library
6:30PM - Alumni Appreciation at the Stadium
7:00-9:30PM - SHS vs Mount Vernon Football Game ($7/adults; $5/elementary & middle school students with adults; NC/preschool age)

Q: What's the Friday night plan after Spada Farmhouse?
A: We will be at Spada Farmhouse from 5:00-8:00pm - drink specials will be offered there. Anyone who wants to go to the football game can go to that, anyone else who wants to venture out, we have reserved The Oxford's upper floor and lower floor from 8:00-9:30/10:00pm. Piccadilly's and Who's on First are also expecting us should you head on over to those places. Instead of a tracking app, we will be posting our location to Facebook.

Q: What will tickets cost for Saturday's event at Dairyland?
A: Tickets are now $80 each. Each person attending will need a ticket. Since we entered this reunion with zero funds, we are relying heavily on fundraising, including purchased tickets, to help pay for EVERYTHING (the venue, food, entertainment). Please see our 'Fundraising' section for more information.

More ticket info: We will be checking tickets at the door so please bring your ticket(s) with you or make available by phone. Accepting credit/debit via the Stripe payment platform. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, please email us ([email protected]).

Q: What will my ticket for Saturday evening's event at Dairyland include?
A:  Each ticket will include 1 alcohol beverage (with a cash bar option thereafter) and non-alcoholic beverages, dinner via Contos (vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options included) and dessert, and music (DJ and live band). There will also be a photobooth and photographer onsite.

Q: What will the food/drink at Saturday evening's event include?
A: Come hungry! For dinner, we will be getting Contos catering! This will include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options (Disclaimer: while we know the restaurant takes steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of their products are safe to consume for people with allergies. You're more than welcome to bring your own food). As for drinks, we are currently planning to have beer, wine, seltzers, and then coffee, pop, water, and la croix.

Q: What forms of payment will you be accepting for the bar at Dairyland?
A:
We will have electronic payment available. Cash will also be an option.

Q: Is there a guest/plus-one policy?
A:
For Piccadilly's after the Serpentine Parade, bring your families/whomever. Friday evening on First Street, it's casual so come alone or bring an adult guest! For Saturday's tour of SHS, bring your families/whomever. For Saturday's event at Dairyland, each alum may bring up to two adult guests and each person in attendance is required to have a ticket. We will be checking everyone's tickets at the entrance.

Q: Is there a deadline for buying tickets?
A: We strongly recommend purchasing your ticket(s) well in advance so we can plan accordingly for food, drinks, etc. The last day to purchase tickets at $75 price was September 1. After that, the prices may go up. Anyone is welcome to come last minute/day of, you just need to buy a ticket!

Q: Are any of the events kid-friendly?
A: Yes! Friday's meet-up at Piccadilly's after the Serpentine Parade and then Saturday's tour of SHS are kid-friendly. The events we are hosting are as follows:
- Friday, Oct. 4th at 11:30am - Piccadilly Circus Pub, (family friendly)
- Friday, Oct. 4th at 5:00-8:00pm - Spada Farmhouse Brewery (adults only)
- Friday, Oct. 4th at 8:00-~9:30pm - The Oxford (adults only)
- Saturday, Oct. 5th at 10:00-11:00am - SHS Tour (family friendly)
- Saturday, Oct. 5th at 4:00-9:00pm - Dairyland (adults who have a ticket only)

Q: Since Dairyland Brewery is dog-friendly, can I bring my dog to Dairyland?
A: We are holding the reunion at their event barn, and we ask that you leave your furry friends at home for this event. :)

Q: What is the attire for the events?
A: Snohomish fancy, y'all! Saturday evening at Dairyland, it's cocktail/semi-formal attire. For events outside of Saturday evening, come casual and comfortable! Obviously for Friday's meet-up at Piccadilly's, we hope you'll be wearing red & white!! All of these are just guidelines, no one will be turned away.

Q: Can I leave my car overnight at Dairyland?
A: Yes! We encourage each driving party to coordinate a designated driver or rideshare (Uber/Lyft). Should a car need to be left overnight, Dairyland's gates will be left open and you're welcome to retrieve your car the next morning.

Q: What ways can my business contribute?
A:
Please see our 'Fundraising' section for ways to contribute financially. If you also know a business that could help out at Saturday's event (i.e. goods or services), please reach out to us ([email protected]). We're still looking for vendors! This is a great opportunity to showcase your business, and we appreciate any offer!

Q: What volunteer opportunities are there?
A: See the 'Volunteers' section below for more information on tasks we need help with, and how to sign up. You can also sign up to volunteer HERE. Please reach out to Megan (Warner) deVries ([email protected]) if you have any questions.

Q: If I donate, sponsor or volunteer, will I still have to purchase a ticket for Saturday's event?
A:
Since we are entering this reunion with zero funds, we are counting on everyone paying their way for Saturday's event.

Q: What are your plans for inclement weather?
A:
We are planning for anything since the weather is unpredictable. That said, Dairyland has two huge barns that will accommodate 500+ people. If it's nice out, we will have outdoor seating and firepits going. We will not have a coat service, so please plan accordingly.

Q: Who is planning this reunion (aka the generic "us" and "we" I keep seeing)?
A: Our 20-Year Reunion is being lead by EB Holderman, Megan deVries (Warner), and Carrie Ganske (Patten) in collaboration with our volunteers. We really NEED the support of our classmates to make all of this possible! Please contact us with any questions/suggestions: [email protected]

Budget Proposal
Sponsorship & Donation Goal: $15,000
Ticket sale goal: $15,000 (@ $75/ticket x ~200 ppl)

Note: expenses listed in order of priority; most figures are estimations
◦ VENUE - $3,000 + tax ($300/hour for 10hours; Dairyland was fairly inexpensive comparatively for what you get AND they did not require us to put down a deposit, which is pretty unheard of, thus a huge selling point for us)
- 6 hour event (4-10pm)
- 3 hours for set up (9-10:30am, 2:30-4pm)
- 1 hour for clean up (10-11pm OR next morning)
◦ FOOD - $3,000-10,000 (hoping to keep under $6,000 for ~150-200ppl
- We're leaning toward Contos Catering ($3,000-4,000)
◦ BEVERAGE (All Alcohol/Drink Mixers/Soft Drinks)- $2,500
◦ BARTENDERS - hoping to save here
◦ NECESSARY MISCELLANEOUS - $500 (insurance, permit(s), ice, supplies, stuff we forget, etc.)
◦ PRINTING - $500 for name tags, table displays, etc. (hoping to work a deal/exchange of services and save money)
MUSIC - $3,000 (hoping to do live music)
◦ PHOTO BOOTH/360 EXPERIENCE - $500-2,500
◦ PHOTOGRAPHER - $2,000 (hoping to save here if we can find someone through a classmate!)
◦ GAMES (Arcade/Yard/Casino Game rentals) - $6,000

= ~$27,000 (estimating high & including all the bells and whistles)
