Apartment Group is expanding its award-winning collection of boutique wedding venues with the launch of Solara Shores, on the dramatic Ravenscar coastline. This follows the transformation of Grand Villa Heights Hotel, the first stage of a two-phase project to create a luxury wedding and leisure destination in North Yorkshire.

‘Solara Shores’ is a barn-conversion retreat designed for laid-back celebrations. Think mismatched furniture, Mediterranean courtyards, fire pits, live music stages, and wood-fired kitchens – perfect for couples seeking an effortless, eclectic vibe with breathtaking sea views.

The venue accommodates 100 guests for the day and 150 for the evening, offering ceremony spaces from rustic indoor barns to the Clifftop Retreat, where vows are exchanged above the waves. After arrival drinks in the Mediterranean Courtyard, weddings move to The Great Barn for dining and The Hay Barn for evening celebrations with live music and an indoor-outdoor feel.

Accommodation includes luxury glamping pods, cosy cabins, a Night-Before Lodge and Honeymoon Suite, with additional rooms available next door at Grand Villa Heights.
