The mission of The Gifting Project Southlake is to ensure that all children feel the joy of receiving a gift thoughtfully picked out just for them. Receiving a gift makes children feel valued, worthy, appreciated, loved! With a special emphasis on holiday gifts, The Gifting Project Southlake aims to provide gifts at special times all year. Our holiday gift project delights children with three special gifts from their personalized wish list with something for fun, something practical and something academic.

We also aim to provide every child with a food bag filled with fun snacks and treats to enjoy over the holiday break. Our year-round Birthday Project provides a birthday bag with a book and birthday themed treat for qualifying school age children.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
