Welcome to the Pastoral Search of
Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc.
We are on a sacred journey - one led by faith, prayer, and divine expectation. At Solid Rock Ministry International, we believe that God has already chosen the next servant leader to shepherd our congregation. Our role now is to listen, discern, and faithfully receive the one He has prepared for such a time as this.

As the Scripture declares in Jeremiah 3:15, "And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." The heart of our search is to receive a pastor after God’s own heart, committed to nourishing the people of God in both truth and love.

We also stand on the promise of Ephesians 4:11-12, knowing that God equips His Church through leaders of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the work of ministry and the building up of the body of Christ.

We invite you to join us in prayer, expectation, and unity as you explore this page. This is more than a process. It is a spiritual transition, and we trust God to lead us every step of the way.

Welcome to our journey. Welcome to what God is doing next at Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc.!

About Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc.
Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc. (SRMI), originally founded in 1992 as Creech Road Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Bishop L. Foday Farrar, is a Spirit-led, mission-driven church rooted in sound biblical teaching and a deep love for God’s people. Located in Garner, North Carolina, the ministry was established on the foundation of uncompromised and unadulterated preaching of the Word of God. Over the years, SRMI has grown from a small congregation into a vibrant, multigenerational community known for its heart for outreach, worship, and discipleship. SRMI united with the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship.

Following Bishop Farrar's passing in 2015, the church experienced a faithful season of transition and in 2018 welcomed Bishop Luther K. Brooks as Senior Pastor. During this time, SRMI expanded its media ministry, launched a food pantry, and deepened community engagement.
Today, Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc. is a welcoming, family-oriented congregation devoted to spiritual growth, community outreach, and Kingdom service. Our vibrant church life includes contemporary worship, dynamic preaching, youth and senior programming, and participation in missions, care ministries, and local partnerships—including our longstanding relationship with Creech Road Elementary School.

We continue to worship, grow, and serve through Bible Study, prayer gatherings, and Spirit-filled worship services. Whether feeding the hungry, discipling youth, or ministering through the arts, SRMI remains steadfast in our calling to reach the lost, strengthen the believer, and glorify God.
We are prayerfully seeking a visionary pastor to help lead us into the next chapter of ministry, rooted in faith and driven by purpose.

The following are the ministries at Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc. Our Beliefs
Membership of Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc. is for those who have personally encountered Christ with genuine experience of salvation. This is based upon the accomplished work of Christ alone which we receive without merit or boast of social status or pedigree. All who accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and complete the Foundations New Member course are eligible as members.
However, there are certain doctrines which SRMI embraces. Biblical ordinances are also observed: Holy Communion, breaking of bread and drinking of wine (grape juice) in memory of our Lord’s death, and Baptism by total immersion in water; and the anointing of the sick with oil for the healing of the body.
We believe in the “Fundamental Truths” and accept the veracity of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. Salvation is through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is also acknowledged as the Healer of the body and the Baptizer into the Holy Spirit, a present-day experience for all believers. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the Church today and that those who are born of the Spirit should manifest the fruit of the Spirit. We also believe in the return of Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself the Church and to reign in power and glory.

FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS
The Bible
We believe the Bible was given as God intended, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, communicated through holy men, and to be without error. The infallible Word of God is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The Trinity
We believe that the Godhead exists co-equally and co-eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.

The Savior
We believe in the true and proper deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth, in His real and complete humanity; in His sinless life; in His authoritative teaching; in His substitutionary and atoning sacrifice; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; in His heavenly intercession and His second advent to receive His Church.

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son and the necessity of His work in conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification, and that the believer is also promised an endowment of power as the gift of Christ through the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Through this endowment the believer is empowered for a fuller participation in the ministry of the Church, its worship, evangelism and service.

Mankind
We believe in the universal sinfulness of all men since the fall of mankind, rendering man subject to God's wrath and condemnation.

Salvation
We believe in the necessity for salvation of repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by which the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God's sight. This justification is imputed by the grace of God because of the atoning work of Christ, is received by faith alone and is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and a holy life.

The Church
We believe in the spiritual unity and the priesthood of all believers in Christ and that these comprise the universal Church, the Body of Christ.

The Ministry
We believe in the ministries that Christ has set in His Church, namely, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, and in the present operation of the manifold Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the New Testament.

The Ordinances
We believe in the baptism of believers in water in obedience to the command of Christ and the commemoration of Christ's death by the observance of the Lord's Supper until His return.

The Great Commission
We believe that the Gospel embraces the needs of the whole man and that the Church is therefore commissioned to preach the gospel to the world and to fulfill a ministry of healing and deliverance to the spiritual and physical needs of mankind.

The Coming King
We believe in the personal, physical and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to reign in power and glory.

The Future State
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in the Final Judgment of the world, the eternal conscious bliss of the righteous and the eternal conscious punishment of the wicked
Our Community
At Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc. our church is passionately committed to evangelism and outreach, seeing them not just as programs, but as essential expressions of God’s love in action. We believe that faith is not confined to the walls of our sanctuary, it must be lived out in service to others.
One of the most impactful ways we serve our community is through our Food Pantry, called The Community Well. It is a cornerstone ministry that provides nourishment, dignity, and hope to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Week after week, this ministry meets both physical and spiritual needs, reminding our neighbors that they are not forgotten.

Our annual Back-to-School Initiative, in collaboration with local organizations and generous partners, equips students with essential school supplies, backpacks, and words of encouragement as they prepare for a new academic year. It’s more than a giveaway; it’s a way to plant seeds of confidence and possibility in young lives.

Throughout the year, our Community Giveaways distribute clothing, household items, toys, and more to meet the practical needs while building bridges of connection, joy, and mutual care. These events are open to all and serve as a reflection of Christ’s open arms.

We also maintain a strong presence in a local school, where our volunteers mentor students, support teachers, and offer a consistent, caring influence that uplifts and inspires. Whether through tutoring, reading programs, or simply showing up, our members help nurture the next generation with wisdom and grace.

All of these efforts are grounded in our mission to share the Gospel and be a beacon of light and compassion. Through acts of service, we seek to transform lives, one encounter at a time, and demonstrate the heart of Jesus to everyone we meet.
Thank you for your interest in serving at Solid Rock Ministry International, Inc. (SRMI), where we are faithfully committed to living out the Great Commission, strengthening the body of Christ, and expanding God’s Kingdom through passionate worship, biblical teaching, and transformational outreach.
