Serves as President for Ryerson’s South Region which includes 41 Ryerson locations with annual revenues exceeding $2.0B.  Mr. McGill began his metals career at Tull Metals in 1993 as an Inside Sales Representative in Birmingham, AL and held various positions in Sales and Management before being named General Manager of Ryerson Tampa in 1999.  In 2002, he moved to Birmingham and assumed the same role for the Ryerson facility there. He was named General Manager of the Gulf Coast Multi-Market in 2010, which originally consisted of Birmingham, Mobile and New Orleans, and expanded to add Jackson, Memphis and Shreveport in October of 2013. In 2015, he moved to Atlanta and added the 4 facilities within Ryerson’s Atlanta Complex along with 3 other facilities located in Florida and Tennessee to form the Gulf Coast/Atlanta Multi-Market. In April of 2021 he was named President of Ryerson’s South Region. Mr. McGill attended Florida State University on a football scholarship from 1988-1992 where he was a three year letterman and earned All-ACC academic honors. He graduated from FSU in 1992 and earned an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006.
