Be among the first to experience the power of Breathing Under Dirt in a professional staged reading, an important step on the journey of the life of a play. Delve into the story, set in 1950s Macon, that shows that even in our darkest hours, hope and redemption are within reach. The play feature themes of addiction, recovery,
and race relations of the era and
may not be suitable for young audiences.

Breathing Under Dirt is written by Michael O’Leary, best known for his decades of portraying his Emmy-nominated role of Dr. Rick Bauer on the historic television show, Guiding Light Michael can also be seen in the recent Halloween Ends, Law & Order: Organized Crime and the upcoming Terror Lake Drive. Michael will appear in the cast, comprised of actors from New York and Georgia, including David Gregory (known for One Life to Live).
