Stories Make the World
Story Glen is a gathering of people hungry for a hopeful vision of the world that has something to offer everyday life, tired of the social media grind, and want to connect more deeply with creative ideas and community. We sense the authenticity of spirituality, and the possibility of friendship across diversity; and we seek to use whatever gifts and privileges we have to serve the common good, and in the places where we experience lack, to seek solidarity and support.

We'll hear stories, experience conversations, and participate in activities curated to help us live with the cracks of the current moment, moving stories beyond separation, selfishness and scapegoating toward connection, sharing, and the common and cosmic good.

Our Storytellers Include
Philosopher, writer, activist, professor of psychology and Executive Director of the Emergence Network
Minister, educator, spiritual director, coach, writer and co-founder of Story Glen.
Writer, storyteller, peace activist and co-founder of Story Glen.
Writer, editor, story-tender, and spiritual companion.
More details of the Story Glen: Transformative Storytelling in Belfast will be posted soon.

A Note on Registration Fees:
The event runs from late afternoon on Friday August 14th through to the end of the evening on Saturday August 15th.

We are intending a significant gathering with creative ideas, conversation, and community on the path toward the common (and even cosmic) good, and invite anyone who feels called to participate.

We have three ticket prices, intended to make the event accessible and welcoming to anyone who truly wants - and perhaps needs - it: an access rate of $175 for those who need financial support to attend, the standard rate of $275, and the supporter rate of $375 for those who can pay more to help others participate.

We ask that you pay from the heart: take a discerning look at the resources you have available, the benefit you feel you will receive from attending, and your desire to support the work of transformative storytelling, and then register at the level that calls to you. All ticket prices grant the same access to the event.

We believe there should be no inequitable financial or identity-based barriers to experiencing the best gifts of this work - so if the access rate is still beyond your reach, please contact us via our host organization The Porch at the form linked here to discuss your needs. We are committed and will be more than happy to work with you to help make it possible for you to join us, regardless of ability to pay.
