Knowledge is frequently underappreciated - and often undercommunicated.
This workshop aims to give you permission to communicate more effectively, helping improve communication about your course, your research or your discipline.

This is not more media training!

Strategic Communication is not about notching up another headline or podcast mention.
It is about identifying clear goals and then implementing a clear plan to achieve them, so that your communications help you achieve your goals - whether that is research impact, public engagement, attracting students or breaking through with donors.

This workshop is specifically crafted for academics and professional staff who don't work in communications teams but want to build their capability to improve communications with a range of audiences.

We have developed a practical, hands-on communication training program tailored for academic staff providing:
* Strategy and goal identification
* Competitor analysis
* Avoiding risks, identifying real opportunities to cut through
* Insights into how to make your research more engaging
* A guide on what to leave out, and what to share
* Practical exercises testing how best to share aspects of your research

The workshop will be held in Melbourne and is open to tertiary education staff from across Australia and New Zealand.

Melbourne, TBC
