Before there was a Murder, there was a woman at a piano.
A songwriter and teller of strange stories, JANE CROW (the creative force behind The Murder of Jane Crow) inhabits the shadowy space where beauty and darkness intertwine. Performing solo at the piano, she strips away the spectacle to reveal the heart of her compositions—intimate and haunting, theatrical yet deeply personal. Some songs are old friends. Others are phantoms. Together, they weave a timeless tale of the love we find, the losses we suffer, and the monsters that sometimes follow us along the way.
Once known professionally as Lauren Krothe, Jane Crow is both a character and a confession—a name given to the woman behind the songs, and perhaps the woman the songs created along the way.
