MORE ABOUT OUR PERFORMERS

Leonard Lee Smith is a storyteller, story coach, and director. He has been featured on the Arc Stories' Radio Hour on WBHM, and on The Moth Radio Hour on NPR. He has toured with The Moth Mainstage in New York, Los Angeles, and, Austin. His stories have been published in the collection 'Occasional Magic' and 'Reader's Digest'. Leonard learned his craft of storytelling from his Southern grandmother, a woman with a meticulous memory and a razor-sharp wit. His stories focus on the heartfelt, the humorous, and the things that connect us all.

Adam Guthrie’s musical journey spans decades, genres, and collaborations rooted in Alabama’s rich music scene. He got his start in Tuscaloosa with the 90s pop-punk band Pain, known for their quirky horn-driven sound and a standout moment recording the Jabberjaw theme for Cartoon Network. After years on the road and a long hiatus, Guthrie reunited with bandmates to form Salvo.
His newest project is Guthrie Echoes, a dynamic, genre-blending rock project built on optimism, collaboration, and community. The debut album Hearts and Ears  features a wide circle of musicians and reflects Guthrie’s belief in music as a force for connection and hope.
