Jönköping University has had over 200 students who have helped/improved companies in Thailand. Contact them if you would like to host a student for one semester at no salary cost. The International Campuses of the School of Engineering (JTH-IC) are our nodes for the implementation of education and research in an international environment. By means of JTH-IC, they offer students to do their internship or thesis abroad, in collaboration with a company, and usually in combination with academic studies. JTH-IC not only promotes Swedish companies that operate globally but also other companies and organisations that are in need of manpower, skills, research and development. They also offer companies customised training courses for the employee as well as distance courses.

University West is a modern university offering programmes that are in close collaboration with working life in an attractive, modern study environment. The university has about 15,000 students and 625 employees. The campus is centrally located in the town of Trollhättan, close to cafés, cinemas, restaurants, and sports facilities, but also very close to beautiful landscapes. The campus is constructed with students' needs in focus.

University West is founded on the principle that knowledge is acquired everywhere, not just in the classroom. Integrating work situations into study programmes – so-called Work Integrated Learning – exemplifies the important relationship between the university and the outside world.  At University West, students experience an open, informal study environment. Usually, students and instructors are on a first-name basis.  This approach encourages dialogue and collaboration between students and the teaching staff, thus stimulating opportunities for new ideas and innovations.

The University of Skövde is a modern and innovative institution known for its strong focus on interdisciplinary education and research. The university specializes in areas that bridge technology, health, and society, creating opportunities for students and researchers to address real-world challenges in close collaboration with industrial partners and other stakeholders. It offers high-quality programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.

The university is particularly renowned for its expertise in areas such as informatics, computer game development, systems biology, and health sciences. Its computer game development programs are internationally recognized, producing graduates equipped to succeed in the fast-growing gaming industry. Similarly, research and education in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, and data science are central to its informatics focus.
Health science is another key strength, with a focus on innovations in healthcare systems, medical technology, and personalized medicine. The university's systems biology research is highly interdisciplinary, combining biology, mathematics, and computer science to solve complex problems in life sciences.

Committed to sustainability and global collaboration, the University of Skövde works closely with industries and society, ensuring that its programs and research in engineering remain practical, relevant, and future-focused. In particular, the research focus is on the automotive sector and next generation of drivelines. The university campus fosters a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, welcoming students from all over the world.
