Spend the weekend in prayer, fellowship, and learning alongside other parish leaders from the Metropolis.
November 13, 2026 - November 15, 2026
To all Clergy, Parish Council and Philoptochos Members, Parish TCI Champions, Young Adults, and all Parish Leaders of the Metropolis of Boston!
On behalf of His Eminence, Metropolitan Methodios, we invite you to join us for our annual Parish Leadership Retreat in the beautiful hills and forests of New Hampshire. This fall, Metropolis of Boston's Thriving Congregations Initiative invites parish clergy, ministry leaders, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, young adults, and parents to be inspired and learn from our speakers and from each other.
We are honored to welcome Theo Nicolakis, Director of National Ministries for the Archdiocese, and a lifelong servant of the Church whose work focuses on equipping ministry leaders to build up the Body of Christ. Joining him will be Fr. Peter Chamberas, a longtime priest, theologian, teacher, and author, whose more than sixty years of ministry and scholarship offer a wealth of wisdom on the spiritual life of Church leadership. Together, they will help us reflect on how our own spiritual lives, leadership, and service can strengthen and renew the parishes we are called to serve.
Come away for a weekend of prayer, fellowship, reflection, and renewal—and return to your parish encouraged and better equipped for the work God has placed before you.
Weekend Highlights:
- Orthros & Vespers in the engaging and educational style of MBC
- Quiet “Alone with God” reflection time
