Keynote Speaker
Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and teacher. Rachelle teaches Spanish and STEAM: Emerging Technology at Riverview High School in Oakmont, PA. Rachelle is an ISTE Certified Educator and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. She is a past president of the ISTE Teacher Education Network and served on the Leadership team of the Mobile Learning Network for five years. She received the ISTE Making IT Happen Award in 2019 and has received several Presidential gold and silver awards for her volunteer service to education.  Rachelle was named one of the 150 Women Thought Leaders to Follow for 2022  and one of 30 K-12 IT Influencers for 2021.

Rachelle has written seven books. Her most recent book “Things I Wish […] Knew”  includes the voices of 50 educators from around the world. She presents regularly at state, national, and international conferences and provides professional development and coaching for educators on a variety of topics including assessments, and emerging technologies such as AI, AR and VR, and STEM. Rachelle has more than five years of experience teaching about, presenting on and writing about AI.

Rachelle is a columnist for Edutopia, Getting Smart, Defined Learning, and NEO LMS. She has a podcast ThriveinEDU and is the host of a PBL Podcast by Defined Learning on the BAM Radio Network. The theme for this event is "Surfing the Waves of Innovation!"    We are looking for sessions that have strong content connections and strongly align with one of the content standards and either the Digital Literacy or Computer Science standard strands.  

The deadline to submit your proposal is March 15th!

Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and teacher. Rachelle teaches Spanish and STEAM: Emerging Technology at Riverview High School in Oakmont, PA. Rachelle has a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law and a Master’s in Instructional Technology. She is currently pursuing a second doctorate, focused on Educational Technology.

Rachelle will be sharing information about AI in the Classroom.  She is an accomplished author on AI and many other topics.  Check out her books at Amazon Books.
