ABOUT
Every April, Child Abuse Prevention Month is dedicated to raising awareness and action for child abuse and neglect prevention. It’s also a time to spotlight the work being done across our state to support families and children before they ever experience the trauma of abuse or neglect.

Join us in hearing statewide leaders highlight why it’s more important than ever for all Texans to work together as we prepare for Texas’ 88th Legislative session. Child abuse prevention cannot be tasked to one community, agency, or system – only together can we strengthen our communities and build local, accessible support for families and children to thrive.

All attendees are invited to wear blue – the official color of Child Abuse Prevention Month – and partake in a Pinwheel Planting Ceremony.
