A Day of Play with Purpose!

Join us for the 2026 HeBrOpen, the SEED School of Maryland’s signature fall fundraiser that brings together supporters, sponsors, and friends for a day of spirited competition and community impact. Whether you're teeing off in our morning golf tournament, rallying on the pickleball court, or just joining us for cocktails and the evening program, we hope you will join us to honor the extraordinary legacies of Charles Baum and Harry Lebow and support The SEED School of Maryland.

The HeBrOpen was created with the vision and leadership of the “HeBros”—a dedicated group of SEED champions who turned their friendship and generosity into a powerful tradition of giving back.

All proceeds support SEED MD, a public, tuition-free boarding school that prepares underserved students for success in college and beyond. Your participation helps us create life-changing opportunities for young people through education, mentorship, and unwavering support.

Join us for an inspiring evening with keynote speaker
Sashi Brown

Sashi Brown has served as president of the Baltimore Ravens since April 2022, overseeing all business operations for the organization. A seasoned sports executive and attorney, he previously held leadership roles with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the Cleveland Browns, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brown’s commitment to Baltimore extends well beyond football. In 2024, he helped launch the Ravens College Access Program, a landmark $50 million initiative supporting College Bound, Bridges Baltimore and College Track—an important SEED Maryland partner. He currently chairs the Ravens Foundation and serves on the Board of Trustees at his alma mater, Hampton University. Brown earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and was named to the Baltimore Business Journal’s Power 10 in 2025.

A former college sports broadcaster and lifelong jazz enthusiast, Brown brings vision, heart and an unmistakable love of sports and community. We are thrilled—and deeply grateful— to welcome him as our 2026 HeBrOpen keynote speaker!

The HeBrOpen fuels SEED MD’s External Opportunities Program—expanding our students’ worlds through travel, career exposure, and transformative real-world learning. At the heart of this effort is the Pat and Mark Joseph Path to Justice trip to Montgomery, Alabama, where students walk in the footsteps of civil rights heroes and confront the ongoing fight for equity and justice. These experiences don’t just inspire—they shape the trajectory of our students’ lives, deepening their sense of purpose, strengthening their college journeys, and expanding what they believe is possible.
