This award is for an alumnus who has taken the philosophy of arcology and applied it to their work by demonstrating excellence and leadership in their profession for at least 10 years or more after their date of workshop graduation. Award recipients should have made significant contributions to their chosen field, as well as furthering The Cosanti Foundation’s mission to inspire a reimagined urbanism that builds resilient and equitable communities sustainably integrated with the natural world.

Who can nominate?
Nominations will be considered from TCF staff, board members & alumni - from recent worshoppers to those with more established careers. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

How are recipients selected?
Recipients are selected by the Alumni Committee which includes alumni and board members. The TCF Alumni Award will be announced on March 18, 2023.

How long are nominations active?
Nominations will be kept on file for 3-years and considered for the next award cycle.

Please do not inform candidates that they are under consideration since only one recipient is chosen each year from among many worthy individuals. All deliberations are kept confidential.

An alumnus is a person who: 1. Completed a workshop;  2. Worked for the Foundation; 3. Elder Hostel participant; or, 3. Legacy individuals who preceded the workshop program. Alumni serving on TCF Board of Directors will not be considered.
