Linda will be in conversation with renowned television anchor and CCF past honoree Rosanna Scotto, for a dynamic and engaging discussion about the inspiration, themes, and stories behind this compelling new book. The Descendant is a powerful historical novel that serves as a true eye-opener, shedding light on the hardships and brutal realities endured by Italian immigrants — and many others — in their pursuit of the American Dream.
