Guests will stay in the two-bedroom Villa Tropical with private stone hot tub and incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest. Chef Josh Moore In-Home Dinner Experience for 10 Guests
Donated by Chef Josh Moore and Jonathan Tarullo '02
Ten guests will enjoy an in-home, six-course interactive dining experience with Chef Josh Moore of Volare. Chef Moore’s passion for food starts with the food itself. He has a 10-acre working farm in Taylorsville, Ky., where he harvests vegetables from March through November strictly for Volare’s kitchen! Volare, which means “to fly” in Italian, is a fitting namesake for a dining experience that will soar beyond the ordinary.
Pappy Van Winkle
Donated by Anonymous
A bottle of 23-year-old Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Bottled by Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, Frankfort, Ky., bottle #M1886.
This very rare, limited-edition bourbon takes generations of distilling know-how to produce. Only the most careful and expensive distilling method can be used to create a whiskey as special as this one. Each barrel ages for 23 years and is carefully selected from the heart of the warehouse.
Julian P. “Pappy” Van Winkle Sr. was a man who was true to the craft.
His mantra was “We make fine bourbon at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always fine bourbon.”
