"Almost unrecognized conventional sick medicine derived in a position of the unability to satisfy mankind needs. This unmet need has developed by the paradox of decreasing mortality along with increasing morbidity, i.e. chronification of diseases. The more sustainable global pandemic than COVID is the cardiometabolic syndrome as one of epidemiologic most important aspects of invaliditiy. The pathophysiologic background is linked to inflammaging. By provision of concepts of personalized precision preventive (PPP) medicine the paradigm shift to healthy longevity is not only possible but mandatory in the future medical scenery."

Titled the “City of Health,” and serving as an ecosystem dedicated to promoting health, Sheba regards it as its duty to help patients across the globe maintain their health for as long as possible. With this in mind, a new Healthy Longevity Center is being established and is expected to be opened by September 2023.
This new Longevity Center is the initiative of Prof. Tzipi Strauss, Director of Neonatology and pediatric physician at Sheba Hospital. “When I was 47 I began having issues with sleep,” shared Prof. Strauss. I started reading about menopause and about 20-30% of women suffer from sleep issues. That’s when I got the longevity bug.”
Multidisciplinary experts from internal medicine, endocrinology, gynecology, geriatrics, and brain science will constitute the center’s advisory board.
This center will focus on cognitive aspects, sleep, frailty, and menopause. “We found these four aspects are really connected to longevity.”, explains Dr. Strauss, “and, if you treat all of them you can really influence the way you age.” Source: Sheba Medical Center
