Join us at the South Sound Music Summit - an event for bands/performers and music industry professionals to exchange ideas, make new relationships, learn, share resources and more.

Panels, break-out sessions and topics we’ll cover include but are not limited to:

> De-mystifying the processes and metrics that industry professionals use when signing and booking bands.

> Marketing, fan and community building 101.

> What are music festivals/venues/booking agents and more looking for in bands?

> Band resources for all levels: the products, apps, groups and affiliations that can help you navigate the industry.

A moderated panel covering some basic Dos and Donts, How Tos, and more. Get to know the panelists and their roles in the industry, learn about modern resources in the music business and more.

An audience-led open Q&A session will follow the 65-min panel.

MEAL and COMFORTABILITY BREAK

A light lunch will be provided by Bite Me Catering. Veggie, vegan and meat options will be available. Drinking water will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle.

VISION AND MISSION:
  • To create a space where bands/performers and music professionals can gather and learn from one another as we navigate the industry as a region.

  • To expose artists to booking agents, talent buyers, managers, labels and more who may be interested in their music or projects.

  • To create an impactful and intentional space for professional growth in the music industry.

  • To create a welcoming space for artists, music industry professionals, and interested parties to network, ask questions and gain resources to further their careers.

  • To create a space to build relationships amongst working bands and industry professionals in an effort to broaden and diversify the music community.
