The Annual Ball is an event formerly known as Canton High School Prom. Procedures, expectations, and discretion are set forth by The Annual Ball committee. This is probably the most exciting social event of the year for the CHS Juniors and Seniors. To ensure the success of the evening, we want to be certain everyone involved understands The Annual Ball procedures and expectations.
A code of conduct will be in effect and any infractions will be dealt with accordingly by the on-site security/law enforcement. There will be security/law enforcement and chaperones in all aspects of The Annual Ball, including inside and outside. Attendees may not leave The Annual Ball and come back. If an attendee is removed from The Annual Ball for any reason, ticket price will not be refunded.
Security/Law enforcement will be used to ensure attendees do not enter The Annual Ball after having used alcohol or other drugs. Should a person be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, security/law enforcement will take them from The Annual Ball, use legal enforcement, and parents will be called.
We ask parents and attendees to remember that The Annual Ball is a formal affair. Attendees at The Annual Ball are encouraged to choose their attire accordingly, keeping selections tasteful and appropriate. Attendees not dressed according to the dress code will be asked to change clothes or leave The Annual Ball.
Persons eligible to purchase tickets to The Annual Ball are currently enrolled Canton High School Juniors and Seniors that are in good standing with CISD during the 2025-2026 school year. Persons eligible to purchase tickets (as stated above) may purchase 1 ticket for themselves and 1 ticket for a guest. The CHS Junior or Senior's guest must be in high school or the guest can be out of high school but must be less than 21 years of age. Attendees or guests that are currently in a DAEP or alternative education setting at the time of The Annual Ball 2026 (March 21, 2026) are ineligible to attend The Annual Ball 2026. CHS Freshman and Sophomores and all out of district guests must have a form signed by their school administration attesting to the fact that they are in good standing with their school and are not in a DAEP or alternative education setting at the time of The Annual Ball. The Annual Ball Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to any attendee.
EVERY attendee entering The Annual Ball will be required to have their ticket AND picture ID. If an attendee that has purchased ticket loses their ticket, they will not be admitted to The Annual Ball unless another ticket is purchased at the door for $125.00. Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket purchase price will not be refunded after March 18th, 2026.
