It's hard to believe that it's the big 70th! The Little Chapel in Cordova, Alaska held its first Sunday School Service on January 15th, 1952. So much has happened over the years. Many lives have been changed, impacted, and redeemed through God and His work here in Cordova. We want to celebrate by remembering the past, sharing the present, and casting vision for the future. After all, anniversaries are a big deal, or they should be! Christians are to celebrate and remember. Paul reminds us of looking back in Romans 15:4-6: "For everything in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." As we look back we can learn and gain endurance and encouragement to look forward with unity and hope. To accomplish this we would like to invite all who have been impacted by The Little Chapel and it's ministries throughout the last 70 years to come and celebrate with us. We have a lot of fun things planned as we share stories from the past and cast vision for the future. Join us in celebration of The Little Chapel's 70th anniversary in a way that honors God, builds momentum, encourages hearts and fosters belonging.
