Join WGAL 8 and Very Local at the Carlisle Theatre for the premiere of "The Lost Children of Carlisle". This heart wrenching documentary tells the untold story of Native American families seeking to bring home the remains of their ancestors from the Carlisle Indian School.
'The Lost Children of Carlisle’ was directed by WGAL News 8’s Matt Barcaro and produced by WGAL 8 and Very Local. The film explores the legacy of cultural erasure in America, a multi-layered story that can't be told without recognizing the painful legacy of the Carlisle Indian School right here in the Susquehanna Valley.
