Temple EWB is excited to host you for a fun, educational, and rewarding night. The Third Annual Gala serves as our largest fundraiser of the year, while providing an opportunity to celebrate the chapter’s work and strengthen connections between students and professionals.

Enjoy a welcoming evening with a Latin American-inspired dinner, two engaging keynote speeches, and a silent auction featuring a mix of local and international art, along with sponsored baskets. The night will also feature dance performances by Esencia Latina, adding a special touch to the celebration. The event is geared toward adults (18+). Minors cannot attend this event.

We hope you can join us for this memorable Gala. If your schedule does not permit attendance, we invite you to consider supporting our international project through donation via this website or exploring sponsorship opportunities detailed in the additional information section.

Nueva Jerusalén, Ecuador
International Project
Nueva Jerusalén, Ecuador is a rural community in Napo, Ecuador which lacks essential sanitation facilities. This has resulted in numerous health concerns, especially amongst vulnerable populations.

Temple EWB is currently working to equip the community with the resources to construct individual latrines. In May 2024, a team traveled to install pilot designs. Our team has been working to improve designs based on the pilot implementation. In May 2026, our chapter will send a travel team back for a phased implementation of the final design. The implementation is estimated to cost around $23,000, and all proceeds from the gala directly support this cause.
Philadelphia Initiatives
Local Project
Our chapter prides itself on working with community partners to give back to the city of Philadelphia through engineering. We frequently work with community gardens such as the Philadelphia Orchard Project and Temple's Cherry Pantry. The local projects prioritize community service and uplifting the Philadelphia community. Our chapter has benefitted by applying our engineering skills and growing our network of community organizations in the city, and hope to further expand.
