In 2023,
Think Regeneration, a national, non-profit coalition of farmers, ranchers, researchers, and industry professionals, hosted leadership programs in
Kansas,
Nebraska,
Oklahoma, and
Colorado dedicated to helping soil-health-minded producers interested in developing leadership skills, building stronger relationships, and networking with others.
In the Great Plains States, more and more farmers are focusing on soil health and leading the way to show how sustainable farming systems can be managed on a large- or small-scale and benefit the consumer. But this work is not easy! That's why this carefully crafted leadership program helps producers reach on-farm goals, such as - being a better manager, effective marketing and communication with customers, and navigating complex processes around organic certification, smart farm growth, and soil health improvement.
All program participants also received a free
CliftonStrengths Assessment through Gallup. With the help of trained coaches, participants learned how to leverage their strengths to make the biggest impact on their farm, CSA business, ranch, or community project.
The Think Regeneration Leadership Program, free to attend due to generous support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, creates an experience for personal and professional growth. Our leadership program includes:
• a defined set of action items to take back to your business/organization,
• CliftonStrengths coaching by trained professionals,
• media training by former journalists, and
• an active problem-solving workshop.
