On April 8, 2024, experience the awe-inspiring solar eclipse at our prime viewing site, located almost in the center of the direct path of totality. Our 20+ acres of fields surrounding the Aurora at Scarbrough Haven offer an unmatched space for witnessing this extraordinary event.

Few eclipses will compare to the unique spectacle awaiting us in Texas, which will feature over 4 minutes of complete totality. Experience the tangible drop in temperatures, the sudden shifts in the sounds and behaviors of nature, the panoramic view of a 360-degree sunset mid-day, the appearance of stars in broad daylight, and the surreal sensation of being on a different planet. This eclipse is set to be the longest and most visible in 100 years, and we won’t have another in the continental US until 2044.

Tickets are $100 per person and include:

Gates open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the eclipse unfolding between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Complete totality is anticipated at 1:40 pm and will last over 4 minutes.

Since the area is expected to have unprecedented amounts of traffic that day, Scarbrough Haven decided to open our gates early and have food and snacks available throughout your time with us. You can even save your snack bag for the drive home! We want this to be a beautiful and easy place to experience this rare event.

Event Details:
· Bring your cameras and/or telescopes!
· Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and games.
· Children must have adult supervision AT ALL TIMES.
· This is a private event with no public access. The wooded and lakefront areas of Scarbrough Haven will not be open for this party.
· Each individual attending must have a ticket for entry. Those without tickets will not be allowed on the property.
· Prohibited items include outside alcohol, weapons, illegal items, tents, fireworks of any kind, vending, and soliciting.
· Only trained service animals are allowed. No other pets, or “comfort companions” are allowed. No exceptions.
· We cannot control the weather, and the event will go on rain or shine.
· All sales are final and non-refundable.
· No overnight parking or RV hookups.
· Located 90 minutes east of downtown Dallas in Emory, Texas.
