Join & support Makayla Fick as she bikes from Jacksonville Beach, Florida to Key West (about 550 miles) in 3 days to raise awareness/fundraise for Conservation Florida. The goal of this ride is to highlight Floridaβs wonderful wildlife corridors and connect local bike shops to join for segments of the ride. Your donation will go towards supporting this effort as she raises awareness and funds for Conservation Florida! Any and all support is greatly appreciated!

Introducing Mak! Mak grew up with a love of the smell of rubber and sports. It did not take her long, thanks to the help of her dad, to figure out a bike had both of those things. She loved her Hello Kitty bike and then it was time to take the training wheels off (after begging her dad for weeks)-he just did not want to see a bloody Hello Mak is all. From there, she took off (would bike to school everyday, challenged her dad up a nearby hill on a mountain bike, and would cross train on a stationary bike for cross country/track). It was not until after graduating college and finishing up collegiate running at Ole Miss that Mak was ready for her next adventure (or 'side quest' as she likes to call it). She eagerly immersed herself in the endurance athlete community in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and is now ready for her next endeavor, which she named Tour de Coast.
