To provide veterinary surgeons with the knowledge and practical skills required to successfully manage fractures in toy breed dogs and cats using contemporary orthopedic techniques. Through a combination of lectures, case-based learning, and hands-on laboratory sessions, participants will learn how to select appropriate implants, apply advanced fixation systems, prevent and manage complications, and optimize outcomes in challenging orthopedic trauma cases. Special emphasis will be placed on toy breed-specific fracture patterns, modern locking technology, revision surgery, and evidence based decision making.
