“I found Brittany’s ability to connect the realities of trauma to the biblical narrative extremely helpful, both in my personal formation and for providing better pastoral care to my community. I wish every church leader/servant could participate in something like this!”
"Really recommend this for any of your leaders who are stewarding people and their stories in this season. Brittany will give a helpful, thought provoking, and completely story formed approach that bridges the gap between therapist and pastor / leader with grace. Can’t recommend it enough."
This full day training is oriented around understanding trauma & healing through the lens of the biblical story.

We will define trauma, explore sin and spiritual bypassing, and learn about how trauma is stored in the body. Then we will look at how the process of healing trauma works and what our role is as the church to care for the suffering in and around us.

If you love the church, desire to follow in the Way of Jesus and want to continue to lead others with empathy and presence - this workshop is for you. Pastors, deacons, ministry leaders, healthcare providers, business owners, moms, foster care advocates, therapists, and roofers have all attended. The vision for this workshop is for the church to be present in all its diversity and beauty. We need each other at the table and there is a seat for you! Let's lean in and listen together.

"Brittany is a trauma-informed leader who casts vision for a Church that empowers its leaders to pursue holistic healing so that they might be more equipped to minister the good news of Jesus to a lost and broken world. The Trauma-informed Church workshop is an inestimably valuable tool in that pursuit. I commend it to all church leaders."

"We love others best when we can understand and empathize with who they are and where they came from. Brittany at The Well helped me see others more clearly by dissecting trauma and bringing what is very complex into a Christ-centered view."
