The Professional Writing major at Taylor University is well known for its ability to train future writers, editors, and publishing professionals. Eight years ago, Prof. Linda Taylor, assistant professor of Professional Writing, decided that hosting a writing conference would be a natural extension to what is already an excellent program. The conference was born, and it has proven to be both well needed and well received.

This conference is for all types of writers—beginners who have never been to a conference, teens (16+) who want to explore their desire to write, older folks who finally want to put pen to paper, and even seasoned writers who just want to soak in some training and be around other writers. This is a perfect conference to begin or continue your writing journey.

Just $139 gets you two days of sessions, dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and a one-on-one session with a faculty member of your choice, plus social media help if you want it. Housing is extra.

BUT WAIT! There’s more! Prior to the General Conference we are offering an Intensive Track for writers who are ready to take the business of writing to the next level. Click on the Intensive Track on the website for more information and the Register page for pricing.

You can attend BOTH the Intensive Track and General Conference for a reduced price.
