The UK Sustainability Reporting Standards (SRS) are close on the horizon for companies. The scope will likely capture all those already in the boundaries of existing climate-related reporting - and internal alignment, followed by first reporting, is expected from companies imminently.

But despite being around the corner, big questions remain about the UK's regulatory stance, how best to meet the strategic and financial demands of the standards, and the views of audiences and auditors.

Some of the most pressing issues around UK SRS aren’t on the text of the standards themselves, but arise from what they’ll mean in practice:
