Hyperphagia is a common part of living with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), but many aspects of the experience are non-visible.
Join us for
Understanding Hyperphagia: Going Beneath the Surface, a conversation centered on the lived experience of hyperphagia. Vanessa, Finn, and Chaz will share what hyperphagia feels like in everyday life, including thoughts and emotions around food, non-visible challenges, and the strategies and support that have helped them.
Moderated by rare disease psychologist Dr. Al Freedman, the conversation will also explore what individuals with PWS wish families, healthcare providers, and others better understood about hyperphagia.
